The DataPro VGA spliced Extension cable
is used to extend the length of a VGA,
XGA, or SVGA monitor cable, and is a non-terminated
cable for use in wire
runs through conduit, walls, boats, etc.
Each end has high-density 15-pin D-Sub
connectors, one plug, and one socket. The
two ends are spliced together by an 8-pin
DIN connector, which measures 21/32" in
diameter.
The cable is made of 75 Ohm video-grade
coaxial wire. This low-loss cable
allows lengths of up to 200 feet in most
cases, with good signal strength.
This is a male-to-female extension cable
and comes in two parts: a male VGA to male
DIN connector of the length you require, and
a female DIN to female VGA pigtail 18 inches long.
We can make these cables in any length you
require. If you do not need a splice in your
extension, we also offer VGA extension
cables.
