The DataPro 1284AC series Parallel
Printer Cable for the IBM-PC is a
high-quality imported molded cable.
The CPU side has a DB25M connector;
the printer side has a Mini-Champ
type 36 pin (CN36M) male connector with wire
bale clips. The DB25 end has slotted
thumbscrews.
This cable should be used wherever
IEEE-1284 high-speed BiDirectional
parallel data transfer is specified.
It is identical in performance to a standard
centronics parallel printer cable,
except the MiniChamp centronics connector is smaller.
This connector is most commonly found on HP LaserJet printers.
Because of distance limitations on this high-speed
signal, we do not build longer lengths of this cable.
