The DataPro 1284CB series Parallel
Printer Cable for the IBM-PC is a
high-quality imported molded cable.
One end has a mini-champ 36-pin male
connector with squeeze-lock, the other
side has a Centronics (Champ) type 36
pin male connector with wire bale clips.
The mini-centronics connector is almost
exclusively used by Hewlett Packard for
mid-range HP printers (such as the
LaserJet series). A close-up image of the

This cable should be used wherever IEEE-1284
high-speed BiDirectional parallel data
transfer is specified.
The other IEEE-1284 cable types are:
Type 'AA': DB25M to DB25M
Type 'AB': DB25M to CN36M
Type 'AC': DB25M to Mini-Champ CN36M
Because of distance limitations on this high-speed
signal, we do not build longer lengths of this cable.
