DB25 Parallel Wall Plate

This fabulous 25-pin face plate provides a cutout for mounting a single DB25 connector (male or female) into a wall, ceiling, or low-voltage box. It's perfect for accessing a serial or parallel device remotely, or for connecting such a device to a computer in a separate location.

The cutout supports a 25-pin D-Sub connector, commonly used for parallel printers as well as many RS232 serial devices. The durability of these older interfaces makes them ideal for long in-wall runs, unlike the pansy USB interface with its maximum-distance of 15 feet.

The 70500 face plates are made for fitting into a standard North American low-voltage mount, similar to an outlet or light switch. Their practical design and sleek look make these plates an ideal solution for commercial and industrial applications, where the convenience of accessibility and clean organization of wall-terminated plates are most valuable.
