DisplayPort and Stereo Audio Wall-Plate

With barely time to breathe after defeating VGA, the video champion DVI is already under attack by the upstart new challenger DisplayPort. With a wall plate like this, you can show your support for DisplayPort's low-footprint connector, integrated audio, and open-standards, while at the same time providing remote access to a computer or display.

This DisplayPort wall plate also includes a cutout for a stereo headphone jack, even though DisplayPort itself can carry high-fidelity digital audio alongside its HD video. This combination of video and audio is perfect for workstations in computer labs and media stations in libraries, where a visitor will need access to a monitor and headphones. It's also great for airports, retail locations, and lobbies, where mounted displays and separate speakers are presented.

Like all our wall plates, DataPro's DisplayPort & Audio plate is the form-factor of a standard North American low-voltage box, the same as a light switch or outlet. It's easy to install and provides a clean, accessible interface to whatever is on the other end. Wires are tucked away neatly in walls and conduit, and everything is set up with just a screwdriver.

To provide our customers with just the right equipment for their situation, these plates do not include any attachments by default. When you add one to your order, you will have the opportunity to pair it with the couplers or cables that are best for your needs.
