The DataPro 1775-FF series splicer is
a Category-5E rated 100 Mhz network
coupler for standard ethernet patch
cables on 10-Base-T, 100-Base-TX, and
1000-Base Gigabit networks.
Both connectors are RJ45 female and are
wired EIA/TIA 568-B.
The distance limitation per segment of
CAT5e cable is 100 meters or 328 feet.
These connectors will connect two cables
together, but may reduce signal strength
to below the 100 meter maximum.
Wherever possible, we recommend the use of longer Ethernet patch cables instead of couplers.
