Ethernet CAT5e/CAT6 Coupler

The DataPro Ethernet splicer is a coupler for standard ethernet patch cables on 10-Base-T, 100-Base-TX, and 1000-Base Gigabit networks.

The 1775-FF is rated at CAT-5e 100Mhz, while the 1660-FF is rated at CAT-6 250MHz.

Both connectors are RJ45 female and are wired EIA/TIA 568-B.

The distance limitation per segment of CAT5e cable is 100 meters or 328 feet. These connectors will connect two cables together, but may reduce signal strength to below the 100 meter maximum.

Because each connector in a run is a potential vector for signal loss and interference, wherever possible we recommend the use of longer Ethernet patch cables instead of couplers.
