Mouse Adaptor DB09M/DB25F

The DataPro 1031-MF serial adaptor is a connector adaptor with a 9-pin male (plug) DSUB on one end and a 25-pin female (socket) DSUB on the other end.

This adaptor is commonly used to allow the use of a 9-pin female DSUB with a PC COM port that is a 25-pin port.

Legacy serial devices were built with a large number of connection options, including the standard 9-pin and 25-pin DSUB connectors. The competing parallel (IEEE 1284) standard also used a DB25 connector, but this particular product will not convert a serial signal to a parallel one (or vice versa).
