The 1165-FF is an SVHS/S-Video Splicer,
with the standard 4-pin mini-din plug
(female) connector at each end.
Although connecting two cables via
passthrough splices will reduce
signal quality, if used in conjunction
with our coaxial S-Video cables,
image quality should be
maintained for well over 100 feet.
S-Video is typically used in high-end video
applications and equipment, and on
most camcorders.
