The eSATA External SATA Hard Drive Enclosure is designed to connect your
3.5" Serial ATA or SATA2 hard drive to a computer through a SATA extension
cable and eSATA bracket (included).
The aluminum enclosure snugly and securely mounts any standard Serial-ATA drive.
The included dongle relocates a single SATA bus and power port to any available expansion slot,
and thereafter the external hard drive can be connected with a standard SATA cable.
The enclosure is powered by an internal 4-pin molex connector and an included external power cable.
The necessary internal and external SATA bus cables are also included.
This product can be used to switch hard drives without restarting your computer. SATA supports hot-swapping drives.
NOTE: This device only works with a single hard drive.
