The 1592 series cable is a USB (Universal Serial Bus) type A/A (host-to-host) cable. It is designed to connect two USB devices each with an A type connector.

This is a passive cable and will function to connect a USB host (i.e. computer) to a USB peripheral (i.e. printer, hub, scanner). If you need to network two computers via USB, you will need an electronic USB Peer-to-Peer Link Cable.

This cable is compatible with USB 2.0.
