The USB 4-port sharing hub will
allow up to four PC and Mac
computers to share access to a
single USB device, such as a
scanner, camera, or printer.
A standard USB hub could also
be shared, allowing this sharing
hub to share multiple devices.
However, our UH-244 sharing hub
allows separate sharing of up
to four devices.
The hub can be used with both PCs
and Macs at the same time. With
PCs it can be controlled both by
push-buttons on the box as well
as software. Mac software is not
included.
The hub provides four upstream ports
and one downstream port to the user.
It support both full spped (12 Mbps)
and low speed (1.5 Mbps) devices.
UH-241 provides both self-powered
and bus-powered modes. It has
per-port overcurrent detection LEDs,
as well as per-port power ready LEDs.
