The USB 4-port sharing hub will
allow up to four PC and Mac
computers to share access to up
to four USB devices, such as
scanners, cameras, and printers.
The hub can be used with both PCs
and Macs at the same time. With
PCs it can be controlled both by
push-buttons on the box as well as
software. Mac software is not
included.
The hub provides four upstream ports
and four downstream ports to the
user. It supports both full-speed
(12 Mbps) and low-speed (1.5 Mbps)
devices.
UH-244 provides both self-powered
and bus-powered modes. It has
per-port overcurrent detection LEDs,
as well as per-port power ready LEDs.
