The KNV-102C KVM Switch allows a user
to control two computers from one
console station (monitor, mouse, and
keyboard).
It also features mouse and keyboard
emulation for automatic boot-up,
supports SVGA, VGA, and Multisync
monitors, and selects any computer
with the use of hot keys or by manual
push-buttons. There is no software to
install, and no problems with software
or operating system (OS) compatibility.
The KNV-102C is compatible with both RS232
serial and PS/2 mouse ports, however the
mouse itself must be a PS2 type mouse.
The operating systems of the computers
will have no compatibility problems, as
the unit will work with any type and any
combination of computer (provided that
they use VGA for the video signal and
RS232 or PS2 for the mouse).
The KVM Switch is useful for computer rooms
which require access to multiple file servers
via one console, factories needing to test
and quality check products, and for showroom
demo situations.
No external power supply is required, as
these units are powered through their
keyboard connections to the CPUs.
