Pelican Protector Case Material Update and Panel Compatibility

DataPro Help > Pelican Protector Case Material Update and Panel Compatibility

What Changed

Exploded view of a Pelican case, case panel, panel frame, and panel-ready case brackets

Pelican Products recently introduced a new and improved formulation for its Protector™ cases. This next-generation material is re-engineered with HPXP material technology to be tougher, more durable, and UV-resistant, with higher impact resistance, better color fastness, and enhanced dimensional stability.

This update resulted in small changes to the interior dimensions of some Protector case models, which can affect close-fitting panel systems.

As an authorized Pelican Distributor, DataPro has worked closely with Pelican to review this material update and ensure ongoing compatibility between all cases, panels, and accessories that we offer.

As always, we guarantee compatibility between any combination of case and panel purchased together from DataPro.

All affected DataPro panel products and related components have been updated to support current Protector cases while remaining backwards-compatible wherever possible.
