The DataPro 2442 series of data switches features a pushbutton selector and fully shielded female USB-B connectors. It allows several USB hosts (usually computers) to share one USB device, such as a printer, scanner, 3D printer, webcam, or USB audio equipment.

To allow a single host computer to select between several USB devices, see our P/N 2440 which has inverted 'A' and 'B' ports from this model.

The common connector is USB type 'A', and the port connectors are USB type 'B'.
