The 1143 series DVI Panel-mount Extension
cable is a perfect solution to remotely installing
a DVI port to any face plate
or bulkhead mount.
Its low-profile connector is designed for a minimal
footprint when you fasten the female end to a DVI
port cutout. The sturdy mounting screws secure the connector
down and remote users can now access a computer, projector,
flat-screen TV, or other digital video device. It is specifically
designed to fit in a DVI Face Plate.
This is a Male-to-Female Dual-Link DVI type,
with DVI-I connectors on each end. The female
connector has no backshell to reduce clutter
behind the bulkhead.
The DVI-I style connectors on this cable make it the most
flexible as far as compatibility
with your devices. A DVI-I can link
any two analog devices together, or two
digital devices together, regardless of their connector
type.
However, this cable will not work to
connect a digital device (DVI-D) to an
analog one (DVI-A).
