DVI and HDMI signals do not carry well over long distances, which is unfortunate when you need to connect a wall-mounted HDTV or a high-def projector. Fortunately, there is a solution: DataPro's DVI-over-CAT6 Extender!

This extender comes in the form of two conversion units. The source unit accepts DVI-D signals from your computer or other video source and transmits them up to 50 feet over shielded CAT-6 cables. The receiving unit at the other end translates the signal back to DVI.

No drivers or software are required to run DVI over ethernet cables, because the device is platform independent. All you have to do is connect the cables and power up.

This device does not support the HDCP encryption used by Blu-ray players, HD-DVD players, and some DVD players; see our HDMI over Cat-5 extender if you require HDCP support.
