FireWire Dual Panel-Mount Cable

Splice two FireWire wall plates directly together without any couplers or gender changers, thanks to these incredible dual-panelmount FireWire cables. Or, if you've already got FireWire in place, pair this cable with your existing Firewire cable to panel-mount the wiring you've already got. They can be installed in computer lab desktops, in video editing suites, custom OEM panels, and anywhere else some FireWire might be useful.

These cables are built to the same high-demand specifications as our other FireWire cables, and are fully IEEE-1394A compliant. They all feature double-shielding with foil and braided wraps, and have been successfully run over 60 feet in succession—well beyond the IEEE-specified maximum distance advisement of 15 feet.

These cables feature a flush-mounting bulkhead hood and embedded 4-40 nuts for a secure and attractive mounting solution. They can be installed in any of our FireWire wall plates, or in you own enclosures using the connector diagram below.

Each connector on this plate is a 6-pin 1394 female connector with panelmount flanges.
