There are no settings to configure; just plug everything in and enjoy 1080p video and lossless audio wherever you want it! The device is HDCP-compliant, so it is fully compatible with Blu-ray, HD-DVD, upconverted DVDs, and Windows Vista.
The receiving piece must be plugged into the wall with the included 5V DC power adapter. The sending piece does not require external power.
