Transfer files directly between computers without network cables
or hubs. With this USB crossover cable connected to each computer,
the included software allows quick and simple file sharing and backups
The USB 2.0 host-to-host link cable works
on the same principle as a serial
Duolink cable or a Ethernet crossover
cable. It is used for file transfer
between two computers or host devices
that each have a free USB port.
There are separate drivers for Windows 98/ME, and Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista.
These are on the included CD, and can
also be downloaded from this page. Unfortunately these are only available in x86 drivers; there are no 64-bit drivers available.
This cable is compatible with USB 1.1 and
USB 2.0. Both computers require USB 2.0
cards for best transfer speeds.
