Break forth into the next generation with DataPro's USB 3.0 cables, in particular
this standard A-to-B cable for connecting a host and a device.
Building on the ubiquity and easy-of-use that made USB famous, this third-generation
of connector interface (marketed as "SuperSpeed USB") allows data transfer speeds way
beyond what could be done with USB 2.0, and is backwards compatible with previous generations.
While USB 3.0 is still making its way into the market, there are already numerous motherboards
and hard drive enclosures that support its whopping speeds. The easiest way to identify a USB 3.0
compatible product is with the lovely blue PVC inside the connectors, which is a nice break from
the mundane monochrome of most interfaces. While not every USB 3.0 connector is going to be
blue, most any blue USB connector is going to be 3.0.
Please note that if you would like to extend your USB connection more than 15 feet from source to device, you'll need to use an active USB booster cable.
