The 1113 series DVI video cable is
a DVI-D Single to DFP digital video
cable. This cable is designed to
integrate older-stlye digital ports
with newer DVI standards, so there
is no need to toss out that DFP
monitor just yet.
The DVI-D connector is an industry standard
digital video interface port for per-pixel
accuracy on LCD flatpanels and other high-definition displays.
The 20-pin DFP connector (HPCN20) represents
a predecessor of DVI found on a number of LCD
monitors. It offers the same digital image quality
as DVI, but was never implemented on a massive scale
like DVI has been.
