The 1138 SVGA Video cable is used to connect a VGA video output to an analog monitor or projector which has 5 BNC connectors instead of the 15-pin DSub.

One end of this cable assembly has a high-density 3-row male 15-pin DSUB connector, the standard for VGA; the other end has 5 BNC male connectors.

Most monitors today are digital flatscreens, and have VGA (if any) analog inputs; however some projectors still utilize the 5-pin BNC inputs for a more flexible and durable connection.

The cable is made of 75 ohm mini-coax video wire. This low signal loss cable allows lengths of up to 250 feet in most cases, with good signal strength.

The 5 conductors provide RGB (Red/Green/Blue) signals and Horizontal and Vertical sync signals, which are directly matched in the VGA connector. Other non-essential signals in VGA, including monitor and resolution handshake signals, are not included.

Custom-built lengths also available.

We also carry the more common VGA 15-pin male to male cable, as well as a VGA extension cable.
