The DataPro 1125W series is an IP67-rated 9-pin DB9, male to male serial cable that features a silicone gasket to create an IP67-rated watertight seal when attached to a panel-mount connector on a smooth surface.
It is wired straight through, and available in custom lengths.
9-pin cables are capable of carrying a number of different communication standards, so we do not restrict the maximum length of custom 9-pin cables when ordering. Please note however that we do not accept returns of custom products, and recommend verifying that the specified length will work for your intended application and standard before ordering. RS-232 has a maximum recommended cable length of 50ft (15m), while RS-422, RS-423, and RS-485 can reach as far as 3900ft (1200m) at reduced speeds.
