The MSV-500 allows either a single
computer or a KVM station to host
two consoles, one local and one remote.
Power supplies for both are included.
There is no software required.
The local unit accepts a VGA and two PS2
signals from either a single computer or a
KVM switch, via a single KVM cable (a 4-foot
cable is included). The local unit has VGA
and PS2 ports for a console, as well as an
RJ45 port to connect to the remote unit.
Using a standard CAT5 Patch cable, the
MSV-500 carries the keyboard, video, and
mouse signal from the local unit up to
150 meters (500 feet) to the remote unit.
The remote unit also has VGA and PS2 ports
for an additional console.
Features:
Push-button selector toggles console activation
between local only and local/remote.
LED's indicate power, connectivity, and usage.
Short/Long range switch to maximize signal quality.
NOTE: It is recommended that the mice on the local and
remote units be of the same make and model. Mismatched mice
may not function properly.
