Computer Power Cord - Swiss

The DataPro 9216 series Computer Power Cord is used to provide 220 volt power to any modern computer or monitor, or peripheral that utilizes the same 3-prong beveled power connector.

This is the power cord used in most parts of Switzerland (the Euro/French power cord may also be used in Switzerland in some places). It is similar in appearance to a Europlug or Italian plug, but the centre earthing pin is offset from the other pins. In effect, the three pins form a triangle shape, rather than a straight line.

The CPU side has a 3-prong "PC" power type bevelled connector; the wall outlet end has a Swiss type 220-volt outlet connector. The official names of these connectors are IEC 60230-1 C13 and SEV 1011, respectively.

Both ends are 3-pronged for full grounding, which makes the world a safer place.
