The DataPro 9213 series Computer Power Cord is used to provide 220 volt power to a PC
or Macintosh type computer or peripheral.
This is the power cord used in Italy, Malta, Chile, and Libya. Bonus points if you can figure out why
it's that particular combination of countries.
The CPU side has a 3-prong "PC" power type bevelled connector; the wall outlet end has
an Italian type 220-volt outlet connector. The official names for these connectors are
IEC 60320-1 C13 and CEI 23-16/VII 10A, respectively. Note: The 10A Italian connector
has pins that are thinner and closer together than the 16A connector, although
both are classified as CEI 23-16/VII.
Both ends are 3-prong to provide maximum
grounding.
