The DataPro 1129 series Keyboard Extension
cable for the IBM-PC is a high-quality
imported molded cable.
The connections are: 5 pin din,
male to female.
The wire map is straight-thru,
pin-to-pin.
For connecting a keyboard port
to a data switch, see our 1134
series cables. This is the same
cable, but in a Male/Male config.
For the PS2/Compaq type keyboard
connection using the 6 pin mini-din,
see our 1139 and 1159 series cables.
We also build this cable in any length
you require. With modern computer equipment,
there should be no signal loss out to 20 Feet
or so, and we have built this cable to as long
as 50 feet with no signal loss. However, this
does vary widely depending on the quality of
your equipment.
The connectors are: CD05M and CD05F.
Connector Diagrams: CD05M and CD05F.
