The DataPro 1139-series Keyboard Extension cable for PS2 devices is an attractive, high-quality imported molded cable. It is designed to extend a PS2 keyboard or mouse cable.

For most of the 1990's, PS2 was the standard interface for keyboards, mice, and barcode scanners connecting to Windows and Linux computers (Apple, like always, used a proprietary version). It has since been replaced by the ubiquitous USB, but PS2 is still more reliable for long-distance runs and rugged environments.

We also build this cable in any length you require.

The connections are 6-pin Mini-Din male and female. The wiring configuration is always straight-thru, for extending an existing PS2 cable. If you need to connect two female PS2 ports together (e.g. a computer to a data switch or KVM), use our PS2 male/male cable.
