The Vdigi VD-Z3 is a high-definition component
video to VGA converter. It accepts HDTV
resolutions (component YPrPb) including 480p, 720p and 1080i and
translates these directly to VGA.
Because the resolution remains unchanged, there
is no quality loss from this HDTV to VGA conversion. Your
component video sources will appear on your VGA
monitor as if they had originated from a VGA
source. Fine details and written text appear as sharp
as can be, unlike on other lower-grade convertors.
The VD-Z3 supports these popular high-definition resolutions:
- 480p: 640x480 (works on any VGA monitor)
- 720p: 1280x720 (works on most 1280x1024 monitors)
- 1080i: 1920x1080 interlaced (limited monitor support)
You can use any progressive-scan component video source, such as DVD players, Blu-ray players, HD-DVD players, HDTV receivers, Microsoft Xbox / Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 2 / 3, Nintendo GameCube / Wii, and more.
This is the enhanced VD-Z3 package, which includes an Xbox component video cable and an RCA audio to 3.5mm headphones adaptor.
Your video source must be configured to progressive-scan output for the CSV-955A to operate correctly. Please refer to our CSV-955A FAQ for setup information.

We've found that the best dip switch setting is 2,5 on, 1,3,4,6 off. It may be different for your source/monitor.
