DataPro's 70700-series of face plates are designed to provide remote
access to a USB peripheral, such as a printer, scanner, camera, or
storage drive, while simultaneously providing a clean, accessible, and
interchangable termination to a hidden wire run.
Useful in home and corporate offices, computer labs and classrooms,
libraries and workstations, these USB wall plates have a B-type cutout
and are designed to be positioned where a computer might plug into them.
The most common type of USB cable is an A-to-B USB cable,
and since every computer has USB-A ports, the USB-B cutout on this plate
is the perfect match.
Our USB wall plate is a 1-gang standard form, like a light switch or outlet,
and will install in any low-voltage box or mount.
Please note that no connectors are included by default. To properly serve
the unique needs of every customer, you will have the opportunity to choose
the attachments that best suit your needs when this plate is added to your order.
Looking for A-type, the rectangular USB port instead of the square one? Try
our USB-A wall Plate.
For running two USB-B connections through a single plate, we also
carry a dual USB-B wall plate.
For information about selecting, installing, and
using wall plates in your applications, see our
Guide to Face Plates.
