Let's face it: USB is everywhere, and it's sticking around. Keeping your USB accessible
is easy with DataPro's USB wall plates, like our two-port model seen here.
With the convenience of a one-gang form factor, this plate will install in any standard
mounting bracket or box. It features cutouts for two USB Type-A jacks, the flat rectangular
type, and is compatible with any of our panelmount USB cables
or mounting USB couplers.
Computer labs use our USB wall plates so students can use thumb drives without physical contact with
the machines. Airports use our USB wall plates to create charging stations for travelers with smartphones, e-readers,
and other gadgets that can recharge over USB. Studios and theaters use our USB wall plates on their boards
to avoid rats' nests of tangled cords under the table. There are hundreds of situations when a USB plate makes sense,
and nobody makes them better than DataPro.
We also offer this plate in a USB Type B face plate, for remote access to devices
like printers, cameras, and hard drives.
Please note that these plates do not include any connectors
or cables by default. When you add this plate to your order, you will have the opportunity to pair it
with couplers and/or cables of your choosing.
Remember, USB has an effective limit of 15 feet end-to-end. Runs beyond 15 feet from source to device
will require the incorporation of an Active USB Booster Extension.

using wall plates in your applications, see our
Guide to Face Plates.
