The DataPro 1126-series is a 9-pin, DB9 serial cable that is available to be ordered in custom lengths. It features two female DB9 connectors with gold-plated contacts and a nickel-plated back-shell.
9-pin cables are capable of carrying a number of different communication standards, so we do not restrict the maximum length of custom 9-pin cables when ordering. Please note however that we do not accept returns of custom products, and recommend verifying that the specified length will work for your intended application and standard before ordering. RS-232 has a maximum recommended cable length of 50ft (15m), while RS-422, RS-423, and RS-485 can reach as far as 3900ft (1200m) at reduced speeds.
