DataPro's line of low-voltage stud-mounting boxes are the most secure and stable way to install wall plates. These rugged frames attach directly to a stud and provide form-factor mounting for North American wall plates from 1-gang to 4-gang in size.

Unlike other mounting frames, these boxes have diagonal screw channels for attaching to a 2x4 (or larger) stud. Why diagonal? So that these can be slid into an existing wall and securely mounted, without required any additional clearance for screwing in. Just cut a hole adjacent to a stud, the same dimensions as the box you are installing, and slide the frame in.

These boxes can be mated with standard electrical conduit, and provide convenient access to your internal wiring. Whether mounted in a wall, ceiling, or floor, these durable mounting boxes are the strongest and cleanest way to install face plates in any home, office, or educational environment.

These boxes provide 3.5" depth clearance behind the face of the mounted plate, for spacious and flexible rear-end termination options.
