Technical Documents
DataPro's SMA/BNC antenna cable is a low-loss
coaxial cable designed to relocate a wireless
antenna or base station that uses a different
connector than what it's connecting to.
One end of this cable uses a standard polarity SMA connector,
commonly found on commercial-grade 802.11
wireless equipment. The other end uses a BNC connector,
the common twist-lock connector found on many
commercial products. Both connectors are male, for
attaching directly to hardware devices.
This cable is made with RG-58 coaxial wire, having a nominal impedance of 50 Ohms.
This is the ideal type of wire for transmitting broadcast data to
and from wireless antennas.
We can build this cable in any length you request.
